A LEVEL RESULTS DAY

St Mary’s College is celebrating an A level pass rate of over
94%. ‘These results are a tribute to the hard work of the
students and the expertise of the staff’, said the Principal,
Don Lillistone.
‘No fewer than 14 subjects have a 100% pass rate, and there are
numerous outstanding individual achievements’, added the Vice
Principal, Andy Jankowski.
Amongst these are Robert Besford, Helen Cuff, Liam Finn, Jordan
Pratt, Anna Sonley, and Francis Yung who have gained 20 A grades
between them.
Anna is going to read Experimental Psychology at St Anne’s
College, Oxford, whilst Liam will take up his place to read Law
at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, in 2010. Helen and Jordan are
both going to read Mathematics at Edinburgh and Durham
respectively, whilst Robert is going to Manchester to read
Physics and Francis is going to read Mechanical Engineering at
Newcastle.
